NAVIGATING PAGES:

  • You use the opening "home page" image map, and the browser and page buttons.
  • There is an image map icon at the top of each page that will always return you to the home page.

Each resource is assigned a separate web page and information is laid out as shown below.
The identity number indicates the sequence of accession, and does not indicate importance.

FINDING INFORMATION:

There are four ways to access this resource information:

1. Search on any word. 
If you wish to search directly by any keyword in all resources, click the centre of the site map to use the search engine. This searches for exact whole words or phrases.

2. Sort by criteria.
All the resources reviewed in this study have been placed in an Excel table  which can be sorted by criteria as required. There are links on the table direct to the resource pages and also to internet pages.
The Excel Table categorises the resources as follows:

Level: Reference/Technical, Extension, Field.
Language:  English, French, Spanish, other.
Topic:  Biology, Selection, Improvement, Collection, Handling, Nursery, Plantation, Agroforestry/agriculture, other.
Format:  Printed document; Graphics; CD, Electronic format (PDF, HTM, JPG, Video, DVD etc).

3. Short-cut to selected resources.
The best resources have been selected and categorised to provide you with a quick way of accessing them.  Click on the relevant branches of the site map. Most of  these resources are included on the CD version of this website.

4. Select directly.
You can browse through all the resource pages (in order of id. no.) by clicking on the left-hand branches of the site map (and then using the next page button at the top of this page). Or you can use the A-Z table (which is extracted from the Excel spreadsheet) on the following page.

USING INFORMATION: The box below suggests steps to follow for making use of the information.

Remember - many are on the EXT-CD - check first.
