Pinus kesiya International Provenance Trials: Overview

This summary presents the results of a joint assessment of the Pinus kesiya provenance trial established at Grootgeluk, South Africa. The trial was established by Sappi Forest Research, South Africa in February 1992 as part of an international series of provenance trials of the species.  The joint Sappi/DFSC field assessment took place in August 1998 by a team consisting of Milton (Usutu, Swaziland),  Frans Mbokane, Valley Mabasa and George Nolela of Sappi and Dorthe Joeker of DFSC.
