The field assessment followed a common methodology in all trials.

The following traits have been measured / assessed in the field

  • survival
  • health status
  • social status
  • foxtailing
  • flowering and fruiting
  • height
  • diameter
  • straightness
  • branching
  • crown length
  • forking
  • relative wood density (pilodyn)
